We are excited to announce our first book: “A Family Story”!
With great enthusiasm, today we want to share a project that is very close to our hearts. This book is
born out of love for the land, traditions, and authentic flavors, telling our story, that of our family, and
the passion that guides us every day.
The experience and passion of Simone Calugi, the owner of the company, brought this work to life,
making it rich in details and emotions. It was carefully curated with dedication by Domenico
Monteforte, Guendalina Cappellaio, and Alberto Sacchetti, who managed to capture the essence of
our tradition, conveying it with warmth and authenticity.
“A Family Story” focuses on our beloved truffle, a true gem of the land of San Miniato, and on our
company, Selektia Tartufi, which passionately dedicates itself to enhancing this precious and
wonderful product. Besides sharing our story through interviews with Simone, the book explores every
aspect of the truffle and our territory. You’ll also find a recipe section full of ideas and suggestions to
bring the authentic flavors of our land to your table, with recipes that blend tradition, creativity, and
mouth-watering dishes.
