Pitti Taste is an important showcase for the promotion and enhancement of Italian food production. For this reason, Selektia Tartufi could not miss out on the Pitti Taste 2023 event. It is a place to discover new trends in the industry, as well as to appreciate Italian culinary traditions through the tasting of high-quality products.
The 2023 edition, held from February 4th to 6th, took place at La Fortezza da Basso. The theme was “Jazzy Taste”, a celebration of the intersection between food and music, based on improvisation and a desire to experiment.
The exhibitors at Pitti Taste are the best companies of Italian food production
Over 500 companies participated in the event, and Selektia Tartufi had the honor of being an exhibitor once again this year. The fair attracts numerous buyers from around the world, who are passionate and curious about the industry. All visitors are looking for new trends in the food and beverage sector. The initiative, sponsored by Pitti Immagine, has never failed to meet expectations for over 15 years, and offers a refined selection of small and large food producers.
The Selektia Tartufi stand was located on the Attic Floor – Stand J/10. Here it was possible to taste some of our classic products and discover new products designed for the fresh food department. Simone Calugi, the company’s founder, welcomed and greeted customers who stopped by and explained the company’s activities to new buyers who are passionate about truffles.
Selektia Tartufi at Pitti Taste: products on display
In addition to a section dedicated to tasting, the stand was an excellent showcase for our products. On the shelves, it was possible to admire our line of preserved products, such as truffle sauce, truffle petal with grinder, butter specialty with truffle, and sweet spreads with truffle made from hazelnuts, pistachios, cashews, and almonds.
There was also a section dedicated to dried products, such as porcini mushrooms and dried tomatoes. Finally, for our Gourmet line, we had our beloved pickled vegetables, such as artichokes, zucchini, and sweet and sour mixed vegetables.
A special thanks to all the people who stopped by to say hello, chat, and taste our products.
Thanks also to those who wrote about us and our products, especially The Meb Way and Carmelo de Luca for the beautiful articles.
