SELEKTIA TARTUFI AT FOODEX JAPAN 2021

“Also this year  Selektia Tartufi will attend Foodex 2021 renewing the tradition started in 2019 – says Simone Calugi from Selektia Tartufi – our aim is to drive the excellence of white truffle of San Miniato and our products Selektia Tartufi to Japanese and all the eastern market tables. We will attend Foodex 2021 thanks to ICE Agenzia for the international promotion and the internationalization of Italian companies that set up an Italian companies team participation”.

Foodex Japan is the biggest fair in Asia dedicated to the agro-food sector with more than 70.000 visitors and 3.400 exhibitors. Every year is held at Makuhari Messe International Convention Complex in the city of Chiba, close to Tokyo. This year is celebrated the edition number 46. Despite the critical situation due to Covid-19, in part the fair will be physically held from 9 to 12 march. Selektia Tartufi will take part thanks to ICE Agenzia together with other Italian agro-food excellence companies.

The Italian agro-food excellences will be the stars of Italian pavilion: meat, salami, cheese, pasta, wine and truffle too thanks to Selektia Tartufi. There are several planned initiatives to promote and preserve Italian food products in the eastern market and Foodex 2021 represents a great chance to speed up the progress of Italian export.

“Unfortunately this year we can’t physically be there but we will show our truffle products in our own Showroom… a sort of custom showcase. The locals will distribute our brochures and will collect potential contacts. We think this is the best solution to protect the health of all! And even if Foodex may be smaller this year anyway, is expected a good participation of Asian buyer”.
